Wellsphere ‘This is Me’ Video Contest

The lovely wellsphere site had a fabulous idea of the ‘This is Me’ video contest for the month of September, asking patients affected with any health issues to post videos explaining their health journey and what it’s like living with their illness.

The videos posted so far (the deadline is September 30th) are fabulous with diseases ranging from OCD to cancer.

I decided Lyme needed to be represented so I put together a short video of my story this far.

Hope you enjoy it! And be sure to check out the other fantastic videos at Health Central’s YouTube page.

  6. Renee says:

You did a beautiful job with your video and with communicating the seriousness of a disease that is overlooked. My daughter has had chronic lyme for 12 yrs, the first 10 which were misdiagnosed. She has been through the same struggles that you mentioned and it is heartbreaking to watch. Best of luck on your journey to good health

  7. Just found your blog through wellsphere on twitter. I also have chronic lyme. It really is the biggest pain in the a$$

  8. Nature Gal says:

Thanks for doing this video. I’m glad you mention the medical horror of this. My experience has been that “medical expert” is an oxymoron when it comes to lyme. But they still bill you as if they know something.

  9. Jayne says:

Amen to that! You did a great job with the video and the information you presented. Thank you for being that video voice for us, appreciate your effort. Just knowing there are others is a comfort and helps me get through another day. God Bless and may you get well.

Great video! Sorry you are dealing with this as well. It brought tears to my eyes because it made me realize how much my own family doesn’t know what I (we all) go through weekly. This is great validation. Keep plugging away. Blessings!
